Registry Agents can conduct Land Titles Searches for information on mortgages, property owners and property caveats. They can also provide information on resource rights.
Vital Statistics
Registry Agents can provide services for birth certificate applications, death certificate applications, marriage certificate applications, marriage licenses, name changes and searches through genealogical records.
Personal Property Registry
Services offered by Registry Agents include searches on personal or business debtors, property liens, Court Orders, Criminal Charges and other matters of public legal record.
Corporate Registry
Alberta Registry Agents provide services related to certificates of incorporation, non-profit registration, trade names, limited liability companies, and matters of public business records.
Costs and Fees
In addition to government fees, Registry Agents are authorized to charge for their services. Some services have a maximum fee which the registry agent can charge. These are called Capped Products.
For other services, Registry Agents can charge any fee they see fit. These are called Uncapped Products, and include services such as Driver’s License road tests.

If I need another birth certificate….replace can I go directly to vital statistics in Edmonton fill out the form and get it the same day or do I have to go through a registry office.
